Third and final release in the Perth Mint Shark Series, and a rare fractional sovereign bullion coin with low mintage.
The tiger shark is an apex predator, and can grow up to 5.5 m long and up to 1500 kg in weight. The tiger shark is thought to be responsible for a large percentage of deadly shark attacks on human beings.
The reverse of this coin features a tiger shark swimming near the surface, with a variety of underwater flora at the bottom of the field.
